Today, I want to talk about being a Magnetic Sponsoring Affiliate.
In the previous article on “What is Affiliate Network Marketing?” we talked about what affiliate network marketing is and how to use it in your MLM sales funnel.

Magnetic Sponsoring- The E-book
In order to be a Magnetic Sponsoring Affiliate you must purchase Magnetic Sponsoring.
Now, you some of you might be thinking that Mike Dillard is trapping you to buy his product in order to become a “Magnetic Sponsoring Affiliate”.
When, in reality the affiliate program is a bonus to the Magnetic Sponsoring e-book.
In my opinion you shouldn’t try to sell a prospect something you (or someone who has your respect) hasn’t tried out or read.
You may be thinking, okay Tania, why should I buy Magnetic Sponsoring?
Well – here’s why:
1. It is a great training manual on attraction marketing.
1. It has 10 chapters full of good introduction to attraction marketing information.
2. Mike Dillard begins by telling you his story and then he teaches you what he learned to become the very successful and well respected businessman he is today.
3. He also gives you four bonuses including the Magnetic Sponsoring Affiliate Program.

Here’s what you get as a Magnetic Sponsoring Affiliate.
The coolest part of the affiliate program (at least to me) is that you can promote any of the Magnetic Sponsoring products.
You don’t have to buy every product in order to promote it (Although, you probably will as it’s good stuff.).
The landing page offers your lead a 7 day Video Bootcamp on attraction marketing in return for their name and email.
The lead’s information is then listed in the Magnetic Sponsoring back office, where you can download it and begin to build your list.
After they submit their information, the lead is taken to the sales page where they can choose to go ahead and order the e-book for $39.95 (at the time of this writing).
If they attempt to leave the page (as of this writing), a window pops up an offers a 1$ 10 day trial offer.
They can cancel at any time during that period. If they don’t, on the 11th day they are billed the remaining $38.95.
The course comes with a 12 months guarantee.
The Magnetic Sponsoring team has put together banners for you to use.
They have also given you example articles and other marketing tools and resources for you to use.
They were doing training shows using Ustream, but one hasn’t been posted since November of 2009.
I have only one complaint with the magnetic sponsoring affiliate program.
They haven’t had regularly scheduled affiliate training.

Affiliate Network Marketing is the internet version of giving someone a finder’s fee for generating a customer.
In affiliate network marketing, as well as, the offline line version of giving some a finder’s fee, there are 2 ways in which you can get paid.
1) You can earn a percentage of the sale when the customer you referred to a business purchases a product or a service.
2) You can get a flat fee when giving the business a lead.
However, in “affiliate network marketing” you can also get paid in a third way- i.e. pay-per-click.
Let me give you an example of each.
Let’s say you are promoting my affiliate product“Put Your MLM Biz Online”. When, someone you refer buys the product, you get almost 30% of the purchase price.
Another way you can make money in a network marketing affiliate program is when you refer someone to a business, and as that business gets their contact information (aka a lead), you could collect a fee.
A final way you can make money in an affiliate network marketing is pay-per-click.
The most famous is Google Adsense.
Google Adsense is when you allow Google to place ads on your website. When those ads get clicked on, you are then paid a fee.
The most popular and probably the most lucrative version in affiliate network marketing is the commission one.
If you sell high end products with high end price tags that match, you could end up earning hundreds of dollars for each sale.
In order to incorporate a network marketing affiliate program into your MLM sales funnel, you must consider products that are complimentary to your MLM.
For example, if you are marketing to business builders, my product “Put Your MLM Biz Online” would fill a need of some business builders who do not know how to generate traffic, leads and sales online.
Here’s another example:
Say you are marketing to potential customers who are interested in your MLM product:
For example- you are marketing a skin care cream to reduce wrinkles.
You could find an e-book on ClickBank.com (or other affiliate program marketplaces, like PayDotCom.com) that discusses how to care for your skin- so that you reduce the chance of getting wrinkles in the first place.
You’d put this inside your sales funnel, so that when your prospect enters the funnel, they’re exposed to this e book.
You want to make sure that when you add affiliate network marketing to your sales funnel, that you start with a relatively inexpensive product.
It is always easier to sell an inexpensive product than a more expensive one.
When you have gained your customer’s trust and given them a lot of value, then you can suggest a more expensive product or service. (Like buying your actual MLM products or joining your MLM company).

Try to look for one that has in built mentoring or guidance for
those times when you are stuck or need to take it to the next level.
Make sure this is low cost but affordable.
If the school has an affiliate programme attached to it, it’s even better for two reasons:
Firstly you can very quickly generate income through referring people to the school, which pays for your tuition.
Secondly, your referrals (prospects) get a training system to plug into.
You can point them in the right direction and offer support and guidance but not actually do all the training
yourself.
Note:
This should be more than just a funded proposal system- you still need to learn to attract prospects
to your lead capture pages!
2. Learn the Basics thoroughly.
Learn to narrow in on a specific niche target market (that has money and wants your services/products!)
Learn how to get found on the internet.
Learn about keyword research.
Learn how to create written content and video to put up at Web 2.0 locations.
Learn how to make your own blog.
Learn to write so that your audience is “pulled in” to you and your recommendations.
Learn how to market your blog and web content through Social Media Marketing, SEO and Content Syndication
Learn to use the phone to build the relationship with your prospects and continue the attraction by giving value.
Learn to set up effective capture pages that target different audiences related to your business.
Learn to set up an effective auto email campaign to your target market(s).
Have patience.
Especially if you are new.
Learning these things takes time.
Don’t skip the essential learning curve.
Once you’ve got it down, you be able to teach this stuff.
It’s highly sought after right now so you’ll be attractive to a lot of learners that come on board after you.
3. Use Two or Three affiliate Programmes/Funded Proposal Systems
Funded Proposal Systems help generate leads and cash flow.
It just means being paid while you prospect.
(These are products or services/systems you use besides your primary MLM).
Ideally the products should be what you find helpful in your business building efforts.
As you use them yourself you will get to know them well and be in a good position to recommend
them with confidence.
Remember, the resources you recommend must relate to your target market’s interests.
If you are in network marketing, you might want to attract people interested in joining a
network marketing opportunity or network marketers looking for training on how to improve their
current business.
You need to be able to demonstrate your leadership capacity and referring prospects
to good helpful resources positions you as knowledgeable.
Become an expert on your recommended resources so you will know exactly how they “fit”
with your target market’s needs and you will be able to help them buy, set them up or move through the
training (if it’s a training course).
In our industry we have excellent books, tools and training programmes, lead generation systems and business
opportunities.
These can provide solutions for our target markets and at the same time, as you help them through
the programme, you have an ideal opportunity to develop a closer working relationship that can lead to all
sorts of other opportunities:
Like you can offer your services as a coach for which you get paid.
Or your prospect might enjoy the way you work and help them so much, they might decide you are the network marketing leader they are looking for and join you in your MLM.

Take time to learn the Social Etiquette before you jump in and start marketing.
These are areas where you can generate hundreds of leads and
get the teaching and ongoing mentoring you will need to grow your business.
6. Join a Mastermind Group to further your MLM Online Training
This is so helpful because you can come with questions and give support to your peers.
Peer learning is very powerful and very supportive to work with colleagues.
It also opens up future business
dealings like JV’s and Co-ops.
MLM Marketing Training: An Example
Here’s an example of what I as a coach am doing for my students:
Help them find their niche target market (using inner exploration and and outer targeted keyword research methods)
I look over their blogs, give tips on how to improve the writing, how to inject their
personalities into the blog and how to create a great reviews on their affiliate programmes.
I check the blog silo structure and categories, to ensure it is SEO’d.
Show how to track results (see where traffic is coming from).
I look at their overall linking strategy – making their links from other content to their
blogs more of a coherent overall strategy.
Look at at keywords and optimize the content for those words

How to set up their lead capture pages, sales pages, auto email series.
We brainstorm content for auto email series and articles
