It's such a real expression of what it is really like. I'm also a single mom. I have 2 kids and when my marriage broke up, I also lost a huge part of my life. I had been active in the homeschooling community and when my marriage fell apart, the homeschooling community ditched me. Suddenly I was without husband, without friends, with growing debt and the extra burdens of having to make a living after being out of the workforce for years. Yes, often divorce means starting completely over. I love your story because you are so real and so honest about what it takes. It isn't easy but it is possible. You give hope to single moms out there that they can make it. You are completely right when you say that what it's all about is taking belly dancing classes when you want to--it's about pursuing that which helps you thrive--the things which bring you joy and which help you bring joy to the world.
